King deserves a KINGdom of Love—Could your family be his forever home?
King is a happy, resilient 10-year-old with a heart full of curiosity and a love for adventure. He is currently in the 4th grade, where math is his favorite subject (but he is not the biggest fan of science). When he’s not at school, King enjoys staying active—whether its playing his favorite sport (football), jumping at a trampoline park, or exploring new places. His perfect day would start with a trip to the Dollar Tree, followed by a stop at McDonald’s for a Bic Mac and McFlurry, and then heading to a trampoline park to let loose and have fun. He loves rap music and enjoys video games in his downtime. King has a soft spot for dogs and would love a home with a furry friend. However, cats are not his thing! He’s also not a fan of spiders—so a family that’s willing to help him steer clear of creepy crawlers would be great. When it comes to a forever family, King has a few wishes: He dreams of being adopted by a loving mom (single or married) who is active and engaged in his life. He is open to both Black and White families, and would love to have siblings close to his age (between 10-14). He hopes for a family that can provide structure, support, and fun experiences. He is okay with going to church and hopes his future family will be affectionate and encouraging.King has been through a lot in life, but through it all- he remains strong, thoughtful, and full of potential. King deserves a family that will stick by his side, understand his unique needs, and help him continue to heal and grow. He would benefit from parents who are patient, active, and trauma-informed. Despite his past hardships, King is a survivor!
