Creative, artistic and loving, Mercedes relishes the chance to help others. After high school, she hopes to train as a nurse and Mercedes already shows her caretaking skills in her attitude towards others: she’s caring, loyal and likes to protect the people she loves. It may take Mercedes a while to feel comfortable with you but once she does, she’s full of personality, funny, easy to talk to, and a thoughtful listener. You might find her with a sketchpad or a book since Mercedes is also a talented artist and loves to read. Her favorite subject is computer graphics and technology, but Mercedes likes most subjects in school except Math. Although she’s a bit shy, Mercedes says, “I’m trying to break out of my shell more.”
Mercedes is open-minded, receptive to diverse cultures and ways of thinking. She is ready for a forever family and says, “I don’t care if it’s two moms or two dads, a single mom or a single dad; I don’t care about race…a family with animals would be the best ever.” She imagines a perfect day as a safe place – a room of her own: “waking up in my own bedroom in my very own home.” Her day would end with a funny movie. Mercedes deserves her happy ending and a loving, open family.
