“Ready to explore the world!”
At first glance, Jasmine and her little brother Jacob are opposites. Jasmine’s the social butterfly, creative and funny, courageous and outgoing. Jacob prefers to stay in the background, shy until he becomes comfortable, admitting he’d love the “superpower of invisibility”. But these siblings share a keen love and curiosity for the world and its creatures. Both write that their favorite subject in school is science.
Jasmine loves marine-biology, traveling and learning about other cultures. She’s also fascinated by sharks, while Jacob says he wants to be a vet when he grows up. Jasmine has many goals for the future, from becoming the first female President of the United States to an astronomist to a football coach. Jacob loves birds, quietly absorbed in their world, and enjoys watching and reading about them. Jacob is really newly interested in learning about the solar system and planets. He also loves music, singing, and playing with Lego’s.
Jacob and Jasmine share a love of outside, and both enjoy swimming. Jasmine loves playing football. Both children are kind and empathetic to others. Jacob is “generous and giving towards others” while Jasmine is “loving and caring.” Brother and sister both imagine a stable, loving family where they can be together. Jacob writes of just going to the beach and “eating pizza” with their forever family, while Jasmine details how she wants to simply “spend a whole day together” with her future family. Jasmine feels close to God and hopes for a Christian family. This sweet and smart pair will balance out any family.
