“Each of us unique, all together amazing!”
Dasani is one rad young woman. She’s a quick study in just about any instrument she picks up, and she loves to listen to and make music. When she grows up she wants to be a “lawyer, marine biologist, singer, dancer, producer, in the military, [AND] a professional soccer player.” This girl’s got goals! She has been an incredible advocate for herself and for her younger siblings, whom she cares for deeply and has taken care of for as long as she can remember. To Dasani, family is built on unconditional love, communication and trust, and while she has not yet experienced that for herself, she has hope for the future for her and her siblings.
Anijah, like her older sister, is full of grit, drive and determination. She’s absolutely fearless, and will throw herself headfirst into any challenge and give it her utmost. She’s a serious athlete, both in dance and basketball, and her leadership skills are praised on and off the court. She’s shooting for a career in professional basketball, but if that doesn’t pan out she’s interested in sports medicine. Anijah’s a very loyal, encouraging (and hilarious!) friend, and she’s fiercely devoted to her siblings. She faces adversity with resilience and the desire to come back better and stronger.
Travis is a diehard fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys, and is bee-lining it for the NFL! He lives and breathes football, and aspires to be a wide receiver in the NFL when he grows up. He also enjoys science and reading “anything by Jeff Kinney,” and he’s proud of learning a no-hands backflip. Travis has a funny sense of humor and an engaging personality, and he puts a good amount of effort into his personal “style.” His perfect day would entail a shopping spree of epic proportions. He’s resourceful, outgoing and kind, and is determined to achieve his dreams.
Full of boundless energy and endless giggles, A’neyma is a wonderful, fun kid to be around. She has a big, infectious smile that can fill a room, and a personality to match. She loves to run, jump and leap – perhaps she’s got a future as a track star! A’neyma has an adventurous heart, and she’s always willing to try new things. She loves to dance and listen to Beyonce, and if she could go anywhere it would be to Disney World. A’neyma’s had a rough start in life, but with the right family who can show her that she’s worthy of unconditional and consistent love, she would be free to acknowledge and tap into her amazing potential.
Ahzy’reon’s an intelligent, inquisitive kid who has an aptitude for explaining things to others. He enjoys helping people out when he can, and if he could change one thing about the world it would be to encourage more community involvement. In school he enjoys math and science, and he’s also a talented artist and inventor. He loves the Goosebumps book series, and his favorite musical genre is jazz. Ahzy’reon likes to ride his bike, play football, and go to the beach. Although reticent at first, Ahzy’reon warms up to familiar faces and is a sweet friend and wonderful conversationalist!
Krity’reon’s a sweet, artistic kid who likes to paint and create. He enjoys school and learning new things, especially in math and science, and he likes to read. He loves to have a good time and is very outgoing, and being outside with his friends playing hide and seek or football is when he’s happiest. Krity’reon is helpful and smart, always ready with a smile, and faces his challenges with optimism. He digs Michael Jackson and appreciates compliments, and wants to be a football player when he grows up.
Da’Neyjah lives to dance! She adores and admires Beyonce and would love to be a famous hip-hop dancer one day. When she’s not dancing around, she enjoys being outside at the park catching butterflies! Da’Neyjah has a brilliant smile, an engaging personality, and she gives great hugs. She’s strong, resilient and affectionate, and she looks forward to being at home with her forever family.
This dynamic bunch of talented, enthusiastic and strong kids would thrive in a home that could offer them the consistency, support, boundaries and unconditional love they have craved but not yet experienced. A two-parent home would be best, and all are open to two moms or dads. They are all so unique and special, and deserve to be reminded of that daily!
